Supporting Leaders to Develop
Conscious Organizations

Culture does not change because we desire to change it. Culture changes when the organization is transformed; the culture reflects the realities of people working together every day.

— Frances Hesselbein, Former CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA

Are you Ready to Create a Conscious Organization?

Creating a Conscious Organization or a Conscious Team can only start at the top.

Others can be catalysts. But the person at the top must be ready to engage. Engage in their own transformation toward becoming a more Conscious Leader. And engage in leading the transformation within their organization or team toward becoming a more Conscious Organization. Until then, no significant change is likely to happen.

It must start at the top for several reasons:
  • because top leadership creates the vision of the culture change desired
  • because all cultural change starts at the top and flows down into the organization or team — culture is a lived behavior not words on a sheet of paper or on a poster — leaders model the culture change first
  • because culture change needs the authority of the top leadership so that every member of the organization or team understands its importance
  • and because there is one fundamental shift in leadership that only the top leader can initiate:
    • the willingness to re-align power ...
.... from extrinsic drivers   (e.g. "do what I say, or else") ...
... to intrinsic drivers   (e.g. "make choices in alignment with our shared purpose and core values").

Once that willingness is present in the top leader, and they are ready to engage in the investment and hard work of transformation, then the stage is set for the transformation of the culture!

We work with organizational leaders — CEOs, Executive Directors, Board Chairs, department leaders, team leaders — to support them in creating the organizational or team changes that they desire.
We invite you to contact us to have a conversation about the conscious organization development you desire!
